Is it normal to want to leave Vodafone after only 2 months?

I came from Orange, I thought they had gone downhill this is something else
First when I requested they change my direct debit date it didn't take effect so to my surprise I was billed on the wrong date making me overdrawn. I then asked them to change it again, and I get my bill yesterday and the date is incorrect! Even though they emailed me back twice in 2 months to confirm the date had been changed to what I requested...
I also enquired about using an iphone on my blackberry tariff I was told I had to move to an iphone tariff and they were happy to do it via email without any security checks beforehand.
I then asked their Facebook team and they told me that was nonesense and I could use an iphone on my existing tariff....
I've been asking for an update from the Facebook team to my Direct Debit problem for 2 days now, and have been fobbed off with we will respond shortly...
Their call centre didn't have a clue when I tried to explain over the phone...
Is this normal????

Your basic heading is funny; the ONE thing Vodafone don't do is discrimate against new customers. In fact, they treat ALL customers in the way you have found; with complete disregard and incompetence. The only special thing in your own case is that you've discovered it quickly; most don't until they have a particular (usually simple) question or problem (the latter invariably created by vodafone and NOT the customer).0

It is normal for Vodafone.
Unless you have a very serious problem, don't touch anything as you may causer even more problems.
The DD date is so minor issue that it is is much better to leave it as it is and just take more care of your bank account instead. And they have no obligations to change the date to the one you want.0 -
I think it's normal to want to leave any mobile phone provider after a couple of months as we have normally got used to the Idiosyncrasies of who we have been with.0

"Is it normal to want to leave Vodafone after only 2 months?"
It's hard to say. It's 2 months longer than I'd want to be their customer for, but as they haven't closed down yet I can only assume that somebody somewhere is happy with themIf you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
Yes for Vodafone it is good luck you are going to need it.0

For all the big 5 its normal....MVNO are a raring trade as customer care is imperative to its survival & FREE mouth to mouth marketing.
Virgin were fantastic at this, they are slipping since Virgin Media outsourced to India but call after 2am and you get a UK employeeSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -

The SIM has been in 4 hours now. I've just got back from my local pub where I don't get Vodafone signal and had no problems with this one.
Got my PAC code from Vodafone now also. They offered 300 minutes, unlimited texts, Internet (no mention of amount but I bet its low) and free unlimited landline calls for £13 a month. I've got a few weeks to make my mind up. I'm going to use the money I save from my contract to buy my next phone outright. Thinking of Google Nexus Prime when it arrives.0
