What tuners will TV manufacturers fit after the completion of digital switchover next year?
Just a single Freeview HD tuner?
Or will we see the return of more sets with Freesat tuners built in as well?

It will be a pity if they get rid of analogue tuners, as I use one for my Sky TV - Link, I would imagine that Scart connections may also be an endangered species. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

I'd assumed that analogue would be the first to go.
Will TV prices then fall if only single tuners are fitted? No free lunch, and no free laptop

Nice one Kurtis, they really need to get the power consumption down so it can be power fed from the STB.
But I'm just being picky. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

I don't think many people will mourn their passing, they must have been one of the worst designed electrical connectors in history..............the slightest movement of the cable and half the pins disconnected themselves - usually turning the sound off on your TV !0 -
Indeed, a French invention, sometimes called Peritel, or Euroconnector.
Nuff said. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
