Morning my lovelies
Cat was mucking about early hours of this morning. Despite me opening the flap I must have been a bit too windy :rotfl: It's certainly not cold, took the kids to school only in a long sleeved shirt.
Not sure what plans are for today, need to break out the sewing machine and get stuff finished off, making felt gingerbread men for Christmas tree tooBut seem to have run out of steam
Not sure what's for tea, something quick as I have cake decorating class again tonight.
Had better go and clean the bathroom, what fun for a Tuesday morning LOL
Hugs and spoons all round, especially for Bargainbird xx

Morning All,
Molly41 can't believe I forgot to wish you luck yesterday, am sending you loads of positive vibes to help you through x
Well, I have the house to myself today :jthis is so much of a rarity that I don't know where to start. Family are good at doing the basics but their standards aren't my standards IYKWIM so am going to try & do some of the bits that they don't notice but wind me right up
ie radiators, woodwork & the edges of the bathroom floor. Must pace myself though so will work with a timer & take plenty of breaks.
Very windy today so have put the tea towels onto boil & they will go on the airer on the patio when finished.
Dinner I think will be sausage & mash with beans/spaghetti/veg.
Hugs to all, is it me or is HH mia? also jackieg, lou, niclou & anyone else mia at the moment x

Morning all
Windy and chilly here today.
I have an acupuncture appointment this afternoon cos my vertigo is playing upso will be finishing work a bit early today. And I have date #3 tonight
, we are meant to be going bowling but as I'm feeling a bit wobbly this morning so may see if he wants to do something else as it may not help the vertigo! But will see how I feel later. I emailed the specialist yday and he has offered to see me again for free but I don't know if I'll have time before I go on holidays, but he has advised me to up the home physio to 3 times a day.
OS wise - DW on, laundry needs putting away.
Have a good day all

Awake now - had a long sleep! Feeling a bit better after drinking lots of water and sleeping.
The mess around me is driving me insane - probably because I just rush about on a normal morning then go off to work. Where did all this stuff come from? Magazines, wool, books ....... just stuff that I like but doesn't really have a home.
Must be time for an Autumn clear out! Might just potter today and nap.
Need to finish one scarf and knit maybe 4 more. Plus the embroidery project, writing back to pen pals, making a few birthday cards and planning my garden.0 -
Good morning all,
Every one seems to be getting up earlier and earlier, I wish I could do that, it takes me all my time to just crawl out of bed these mornings now.
Anyway, was woken up this morning with breakfast made for me by my dd1 which was lovely of her, fried eggs on toast (unfortunately it was stone cold) but I forced it down whilst they happily opened my cards and pressies they had bought. Ooooh the frying pan, think it will have to soak for a week to get the burnt egg off.
In work today so a nsd, hm sarnies brought in but we will be having a chinese for tea as a one off treat. Last night I used up the rest of the potato bake made by dd2 on sunday and had a chicken escalope from the freezer with it.
All washing is up to date, last load is still on the airer as I cba to take it all off last night. Heating not on as yet, I used candles last night to warm the lounge up.:D
Sorry to hear about your ongoing problem Molly41, the way this country treats people now is disgraceful. Good luck.
Hope everyone else is soon feeling better than they did too.
Have a good Tues.0 -
morning all
sorry to hear about the meeting yesterday molly
bb ouch sounds nasty
Sounds like i'm not the only who couldn't sleep last night, me and OH are shattered. He drove his dad to leeds today, poor thing can't have a nap either.
Well had a very stressful evening yesterday, spent the entire time telling / screaming at two very naughty boys for jumping on the van ramp and jumping off it into the road yesterday. Absolutely furious at the stupidity of them. I've told my son if i catch him doing anything like that again in the road or damaging vehicles he's paying for it. He was not impressed when i said i would sell his pc to pay for any repairs. The other child's mother apologised to me today as well, she was fuming too. arghhh kids just when you think they start being responsible.
But apart from that incident we had a very productive day, managed to cook a huge pan of stew, just put two large tubs of it into the freezer ready for another day. All the bread i made had been eaten  so need to make more. OH designed a few logo's for the business and think we have decided one were going to use for business cards and invoices.
Todays plan, somehow stay awake, attend two meetings and sort prescriptions out. Feel like death warmed up erghhh0 -
morning ladies, breezy here again today, have done a load of washing and have another in as I type. Hoping to get dd and ds1+ 3 bedding done.
I have a huge bruise on my arm today where I had a blood test done yesterday. It was a different nurse than who usually does it and she struggled to get any blood out , took her 3 goes:eek:. Ds3 has an infection in his big toe, like I didnt already know that;) apparently he has such tiny toenails compared to the size of his big toe so he is a prime candidate for ingrown toenails, so has been referred to have ingrown toenail surgery. Ds1 had it done a couple of years ago on both big toes so he knows what to expect, only thing he is pi ss ed off about is he wont be able to play rugby for a while.
Ladies do any of you know if there is a Weight watcher thread anywhere on this site? I was weighed yesterday at the drs and have put on 3/4 of a stone since this time last year:mad::(:o, and I know this isn't helping with the medical conditions I have so time for me to give myself a kick up the backside and start loosing the extra weight.I did weight watchers years ago and lost just under 3 stone so I know it works , this time however I need to loose just over 5 stone:eek::eek::o:o. Lugging this amount of extra weight around is really taking its toll on me.
Anyhow, have got a date for my wetroom to be done, 3 weeks today they start:T:T:T, cant wait.
Thats about all from me atm have a fab day everyone.
Panic over have found the ww thread.Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -
Hello ladies,

Yesterday I popped to local Mr T as we run out of toothpaste and got 2 whole sea basses for £2 each! So that will be T tonight, no idea what am I going to do with them yet. Any ideas will be welcome!
Have to change beds when I get home from work and possibly do some ironing.. Will see how I feel about that yet... Still didn't put away the ironing I've done last week, it's still sitting on the chester drawer neatly folded! Might need to start with that..0
