3 retention advice needed

hi there i can give my 30 days notice in a few days , i said to them today i want my pac code , he was going to give it me then i said i will think about it

they offered me nokia n73 on 12 mth contractwith 750 mins 150 txt @ 40 pound per mnth with a months free line rental , or same phone with 180 pound of credit to spend how u like for 35 per mnth with 25% discount per mnth, which worked out at £ 26.50 per mnth on 18 mnth contract

i think this is not that good as any 1 got a better deal from them or else where ?

also when you want to leave 3 you get put through their options team, are theses the people who can give you the best deal ?

  • I just spoke to 3 a few minutes to try and get a deal for renewing my contract.

I was initially offered to Video, Talk & Text 700 (400 mins, 250 txts plus a few MB of net allowance), on an 18 Month contract with 1st 10 months 1/2 price and a N73. works out at ~ £25 a month.

However, I've already got an N70 and am pretty happy with it so asked what my options were without getting a new handset. I was offered the same tariff on a 12 month contract, with 9 months free, ~£10 per month. Was better than I was expecting to be offered so took it.
