Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Go for safety but get the 2.5 turbo cos it's fast????

It really depends what your budget is.

Yeah what is wrong with that?

You can drive a fast car without breaking the speed limit and still have lots of fun.

    Plus the brakes are bigger.

    Whats up?

You only need to buy a diesel to save money if your going to do a decent amount of miles, or if you like the style of driving.

    1) Diesel cars cost more to purchase to start with
    2) Cost slightly more to service

I can't remember the break even point for Diesel, but its likley to be 12,000 + miles.

Diesel and petrol cost the same to service and if anything realy diesel should eb cheaper because you replace less at at service, I would say diesel break even is anyth9ng more that 5000 miles a year there also that bit that a diesel is likely to out last a petrol and its that reliability that your paying for in the purchase price.
If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

    Hi Dianna.

You would need to post how much you have to spend, and say if this would include any tax and insurance, and also remember that you have just passed your test, (Congratulations.) so this and your age,and where you live will also be a factor, when going to get it insured.

What sort of mileage do you expect to do per annum? Is it just for running around,or will you be going on long journeys as well,as this will also help you decide if to buy a petrol or a diesel. If you expect to do,say, only 4000 miles a year, then a petrol will suffice, but if you do mileage in excess of 5 figures,(Like me.) then a diesel will benefit you.

Post up some of the above, and people will be able to help you more.

    Ken.
