Try buffing up your window with a microfibre cloth afterwards.
In fact, I find white vinegar is better than stardrops for glass. I clean it with a tea towel then buff up with microfibre cloth. That's Numberwang!0 -

Just been reading through this thread and got loads of useful tips, thanks!!
I've found that neat Stardrops is very good for cleaning stainless steel cutlery, especially getting rid of the tanin stains on teaspoons - just rub it in with one of those washing up sponges.

Hi,
After reading so much about stardrops on MSE, I have bought a bottle (Wilkinson's 58p) and I have successfully used it on floors, counter tops and dishes. But I still have a question. I have trouble cleaning the inside of my oven as I have arthritis and can't hold things for very long. I thought that SD would make it easier. But should I use it pure or diluted (and by what proportion)?

wanted to say a big THANK YOU for this thread, started reading it with interest yesterday, and ran out and bought a bottle!! Wasn't in our local pound shop, so went to sainsbury's and got it for around 78p. I tackled the kitchen with it last night, cleaned perfectly, then i buffed everything with a microfibre cloth (4 for £1 in the pound shop
)!
It was so easy, everything was clean in half the time, and my stainless steel (brushed and polished) has never been so shiney! Even my cooker glass looked great! So thanks guys, and keep up the good suggestions for use!:j Ready to take control of my life! :j

I also have a grotty bath was awful when I first moved in, stardrops worked great used it diluted for most of it, but the tough marks did need it neat and a bit of scrubbing. So Give it a go and see how you get on.:)

I decided to try 'Starclen' (part of Stardrops range) recently. It contains ammonia, by the way, so probably a good idea to wear rubber gloves
FANTASTIC result on tile grouting, with hardly any effort. I'd despaired of ever getting it clean. Great on paintwork also as well as tiles.
I found Stardrops on sale for 67p in 'Home and Bargain', if you've a branch near you.
What amazing stuff - wish I'd discovered it before now, and so cheap!

I picked up my Stardrops and Zoflora in Savers. They were about 58p each.
And I have used my stardrops for everything from floors to windows (house and car windscreen wash) clothes, carpets, cookware..... and the list goes on.I can't even find all the stuff to tell me how much I owe. :eek:0 -
My first stardrops experience made my old sofa come up lovely. I used it diluted then hoovered it dry.
I honestly didn't realise how awesome it was round the house, thanks for all the tips guys!0
