Glad youve seen the light
Id give the whole ten pounds back, not like youd miss yhe 79p, specially if youve spent her tenner n you have to with draw another to replace it, might as well just hand it all over , i couldnt be bothered to faff around with the 79p...:j Baby due 8th march:j:cool: Little girl born on the 8th of march0 -
Give the tenner back ... then borrow tea bags off her for the rest of the week.When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0

The thing is that whilst the amount is small it can build up.
I have a situation where my colleague has asked me to buy on two occasions things for her which have come under £1 each time....so theoretically that's just under £2. If I keep on writing these amounts off the total amount could end up a tidy sum!2014 Target;
To overpay CC by £1,000.
Overpayment to date : £310
2nd Purse Challenge:
£15.88 saved to date0 -

but i do kind of know that feeling - i'm counting all the pennies i spend and find myself going a little too far every now and again on the moneysaving front...

Yeah that is true, but if its just a one off then id see no harm in it, itpays to be nice sometimes, you never know when you might need a favour..
As for your colleague.. i have a friend like that at college, she'll ak for 20p /50p whatever just so SHE doesnt have to break into a note.. I call that taking the pee..! I conveniently dont have change now, or have exact money for my drink etc.. she aint checking my purse lol:j Baby due 8th march:j:cool: Little girl born on the 8th of march0 -
look at the 79p as interest on money borrowed!
then forget about it, it's all swings and round-abouts.0 -
Give her the tenner back, and think of the tea bags as a thank you present. Maybe she was worried you would buy her chocolates.0
