Hi I have recently complained to Welcome with regards to four loans I had with them prior to 2003. I received a letter back from Welcome advising that because it was prior to February 2003 it would not be them responsible. I found out that Norwich Union (now Aviva) were responsible as the insurer and have since complained…

Aviva= Norwich Union. It was a rebrand.

Aviva didnt sell PPI directly. What little they did was through third parties. They are more commonly known for other types of insurance (such as life assurance, critical illness cover and income protection - none of which are PPI).
