A few years ago this place got a very bad write up, one of the worst places to stay. Saying that we have stayed there every year for the last ten years.
Friday nights can be very noisy, coach loads come over from Ireland to watch one of the Manchester football clubs play the next day, not sure which club it is.
I would describe the place as run down, but staff are friendly, rooms are clean, Like everthing you pay your money and take your choice0 -
stayed at the Crowne Plaza this year.. right on the airport. Cannot remember the price but nice hotel.0

there is a radisson right on the airport, connected, and a Hilton as well, I seem to recall stopping in once.
try www.holidayextras.co.uk for rate comparison0 -
we always stay at the radisson, not exactly moneysaving though. think we paid £95 for room and around£36 on the long stay carpark. the beauty of the radisson for early flights is it is within the airport building itself. a covered walkway to the terminals.0

There are problems with crime in some of the manchester hotel carparks.this is an old link but it shows that the brittania accounted for 20% of all theft from a motor vehicle offences in the area, take care.0 -
I've stayed at Bewleys and Crowne Plaza, both with parking. Of the two I preferred the Crowne Plaza, it felt more personal and less conveyor belt but was a little more expensive. Like HCB42 I booked through Holiday Extras, after extensive research these were the cheapest and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Having said that, my MIL swears by the Radisson but I can never afford it!0
