I think your spreadsheets are brill Rising!
Do you use Excel? I have no idea how it works, or how you get it to automatically calculate totals!
I am old fashioned, i still use pen and paper :)
  • Ahhhhhh the complex one (also known as the SOW = Spreadsheet of Wonder!) was developed by CW18 on the FL Challenge & she kindly lets us all use it - it's fab and I love it but there is no way I could produce anything as complex (as can be seen by my sad attempts above!).

All spreadsheet'd out - have got a 350 mile round trip to do tomorrow so heading off for an early night!

Hope the weather's better (hail still just now) as all on rural unfamiliar road!

I hope your drive goes ok tomorrow! Night!
  • What a way to spend a day off ;) - I must be mad:o

Anyway, after much playing around, I have reduced my pots - not quite to one as I felt that would be too much of a big change as I'm still getting used to budgeting properly (and have had big problems with raiding in the past when large sums are in one account:o) - so have "played safe".

However, I now have 4 pots rather than 8::T:T
    • House & Car (for annual expenses) - House Ins, Landline advance rental, Car (incl Ins), Emergency fund
    • Pets - Dog & cats
    • Others - Dentist, Hair, Clothes, Presents, Groceries, Fuel, Anything else
    • Savings - renamed one of the redundant ones to this to put my weekly round-down into, don't want to stop doing it but don't want it to just disappear into another account IYKWIM - once it gets to a reasonable amount, I will transfer to the Fuel or Groceries budget (which are both £0 just now:o)
Anyway, 4 pots now sitting called "close1" etc so I guess that will be a call to the bank on Tues when they reopen (wish you could open & close accounts online - it would be sooooo much easier!)

I also have 3 new spreadsheets with a totals page and separate worksheets for each individual budget in that pot so I can keep track of each one :D - phew! my brain's wondering what's going on as I'm supposed to be on hols:rotfl:

Now, enough budgeting malarky for today - trying to resist the temptation of visiting PAH and putting a dent in the dog's budget :)

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend :)
