We do, but they are not budging on price!! And yes some are selling quickly......others have been around even longer than ours!0 -

Seems like a lovely property, perhaps it's lost its new house premium because of the newer development?
Not a stupid question at all! It is a three storey house and the main bedroom with ensuite is in the roof space. Was built like this!0 -
Stay where you are and overpay the mortgage every single month until you build up more equity and hope house prices start to rise in 12/24 months time.
Its a very nice house until you see the 3 bed detached for £185K0 -
they may not be budging in price but you never know - they may change their mind yet. Good luck with it.weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0

David Wilson seem to be lowering/raising their prices every week!?
The one on kimberly street is new on the Market ,has no off road parking and is dreadful for parking. The other one in Palmerston road is also new and a very good price......maybe desperate to sell?? But doesn't help us lol.0 -
This is new and a semi for under £195k:

Detached with garage for £190k:

Your house is in really good order BUT the price does not measure up to the others on the market.
Also, the garden is quite small and overlooked and the green out the front would put me off as it would be a magnet for kids with all the extra noise that brings (bah, humbug).
Not what you want to hear but.... you'll have to set the price according to the market and the competition or stay put.:hello:0 -
A rightmove search brings up 8 x 3 bed houses under £210k.
This one is only £185k and literally round the corner:

Why is yours £20k nicer?
Or a period property for £10k less than yours, also round the corner:

Your house looks lovely, so ultimately, I'd say it comes down to price.
Agreed. Your house is lovely, I could move straight in and not have to touch it so saleability of the actual house does not seem the issue.
As pinkshoes says it seems overpriced to me. I had a quick look on rightmove and can find properties with 3 beds starting from £155k using the search term Kibworth Beauchamp "this area only".
In the nicest way possible there is no way I would pay anywhere near £205k for yours when I could get this for £185k tops http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-31640536.html or this detached one for at least £15k less http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-19682103.html.
I am no expert but looking at the local market, I would say market at £185k with a view to accepting £180k would be a more realistic price to me.
What did your agent say?
p.s. I am from Sutton Elms/Broughton Astley and now live in Glen Parva!0 -

That's what we are doing already, we do have quite a bit of equity in the house but the lower we go with the price the more we are losing.....on paper anyway and the house we would like to buy has stayed the same price since going on the Market !!
And yep I agree about the detached house......that's why I am asking the question lol.0 -
