It's not littlewoods it's the courier they use, they're dreadful.

    Littlewoods chose the courier.
Littlewoods were the ones refusing to do anything about the problem.
    It was Littlewoods fault.

Why bother to post that? Are you so inadequate you have to draw attention to others shortcomings to make yourself feel better?

instead of having a go at posters who may or may not have been a bit snippy with you, I suggest you read post #10 which is from someone officially representing Littlewoods and follow the link to progress this with Littlewoods.....he seems keen to help.

As for using terms like 'con artists' and 'scam artists', maybe you should familiarise yourself with exactly what those terms mean before bandying them about on a public forum.

And maybe you could update us on how this conversation went (you said on 9/10 you were going to ring them 'tomorrow'):

    Hi
.... i sent the details and shall be ringing them tommorrow to chase it up i find it so rediculous that i should have to go to all this effort to buy something...
  • Hi

sorry i forgot about giving the update i rang once after and still no luck they said they would contact me. I also emailed to take up the kind offer of help from this thread but after one email and promise to get back to me by evening i have still heard nothing about 2 weeks later.... i have emailed once again so waiting for reply as far as calling people con man and scam artist i believe if the people that are quick to judge the description i use would not be so quick if it was there credit rating or money envolved. Its always easy to criticise from behind a computer screen for those of you that have you do make me laugh.
cheers to those of you that have talked positively about the situtation

  • oh wait just got a reply .... they have lost the copy of my id i posted to them by registered post and want me to send it again lol

Sorry, tom.g - you are wrong there.

Even if it were my money or credit rating involved, I wouldn't be calling any company con artists, scammers or claiming I'd been ripped off - until I was 100% sure that that was the true case.

From what you've said so far, Littlewoods seem to be a bit short on the Customer Services front, but that's as far as I'd go.
  • Oh sorry my mistake well for me and the vast majority who arent devine beings we get pretty annoyed when we are put through a stressful time when we dont need to be and when large sums of money are involved, not being kept in the loop about anything or recieving any contact and then finding out that the personal information/ copies of id with signature on that i sent registered post have been lost..... there was enough info in there to take out contracts easily if you know how thus why i sent via registered post. I am working in retail and we can be fined £1000 for every piece of customer data that is not kept safe/confidential. its such a shame coz i used think littlewoods were quite good but after dealing with an issue makes me wonder how regulators can fine energy companies coz there customers complain about having to pay bills they have used and just to stupid to understand and companies like littlewoods can drag customers through the mud and nothing :T there awesome.
