Good morning
Kids decluttered to school, Little Miss Sunshine dropped at play school. I ran the WM through a clean cycle yesterday, and have just cleaned the soap drawer (yuk!). Food bin has been emptied.
I will hoover downstairs after the kids have all gone home tonight. No point doing it now, as I am going to hide some toys in shredded paper for Miss T, so we can go on a treasure hunt & talk about things we findOh - I did some shredding this morning
Ok - I think i will do some paperwork before our treasure hunt, while Miss T is playing & I am having a cuppa.
Will catch up later.0 -
Morning. New week new start.
Took DD's to school on the way to the vet. DC5 is doing well, stitches out next monday.
My friend has text asking me to go for coffee. I don't really feel like it but can't keep blowing her off so I'll go over in a bit.
Had a answerphone message from the woman at Oasis, needs to speak to me about XH court case tomorrow. That's good considering I was told it was the 18th. I text her back cos the phone number she left wasn't clear, could only hear the last 3 numbers
The window cleaner is here so can't go out 'til he's paid.
I think DD1 has finally learnt that "if it ain't in the wash basket. it's ain't getting done" as she ran around the house collecting up school shirts and putting the machne on herself. She then had to get earlier to TD one for school.
DD2 had a shock when I reminded them both that neither of them was getting any "pocket money" as they hadn't done their jobs. She said did they look bothered? I then said maybe not but how are you playing for drumming at the weekend? She's now said if she gets her jobs done by Friday can I pay her early. I said just this time.

I HAD A GREAT NIGHT
Had loads of people say really nice things to me, including one rather well known gent, who told me I had a great ear and was obviously a talented bassist to be doing that after one yearOf course, being the only girlie in a huge bunch of muso blokes has its added advantages - lots of hugs and kisses, too
They want me back as a regular, and - shock horror - I even got a share in the whipround, so I GOT PAID :J

are those letters you get from readers digest actually genuine? the ones saying that you are due to receive your prize draw numbers and need to return them to be in with a chance to win the money? could do with 100grand like lol.

Some believe it is genuine others don't. I'd say don't buy anything unless that was your plan, certainly not to win a prize.
