  • I've been attempting to flutter for months and have been utterly useless at it, this thread looks awesome, just what I was looking for, I would love to join you guys if you'll have me.

I think for this week I will attempt to keep up, just on the level one jobs, I'm on a major de-cluttering spree, toilet training youngest and have a big commission to finish, so adding mainly the level 1's will be enough of a shock for now lol
    Monday..
    Level One
Vacuum through downstairs .. or sweep/mop
Dust and deweb all of the downstairs rooms
    Level Two
HH doing something necessary... I need to do 30 mins on course everyday, so will include this
Empty and wash out stinky bins! These really need doing, so will find time.
    Level Three
Make sure smoke alarms are all fully functional-did yesterday while cooking roast lol

Phew, tomorrows gonna be a busy one!

P.s does anyone actually shine their sink?

    Evening all

sorry I have been MIA Dad had a back op and I had to go and look after him and Mum (who has dementia)

DD (21) was left at home and the place was a bit of a tip when we got back (OH went with me)

It is almost back to being respectable but I intend to be a good flybaby this week so it stays that way!!

    Thank you to FCC

May or may not be in this week... SIL is going to see the consultant tomorrow and they may try to turn the baby, so I'm looking after my nephew while they're out... And we're not sure how long they'll be - I guess it depends on what the baby thinks about the interference :D

Today's shed reorganisation was successful. All the garden furniture is in, salt is in a bin (less messy than using it out of the sack), kindling and small logs are all accessible. Hopefully the efforts there and in the utility room a couple of weeks back will pay dividends when it gets cold, as long as I can keep tidy and organised!

I need to start packing up books in the study as the plasterer is booked for the day after I get back from next week's trip - he's doing two bedrooms and the hall, landing and stairs. Luckily there is a weekend in the middle so hopefully I can get some help to move the furniture over. And I want to get all the ceilings and at least one room painted straight away so we can start to get back to normal. I'm also hoping at least some of the work in the utility room (fixing what was done badly last time) will be done while we're away.

    Anyway, so far this week:

    Monday..
    Level One
Vacuum through downstairs .. or sweep/mop or all three...
Dust and deweb all of the downstairs rooms
    Level Two
HH doing something necessary... ironing/cleaning/gardening/studying.. whatever!
Wash downstairs windows.. insides only! might not manage this as it requires daylight
[STRIKE]Empty and wash out stinky bins![/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Make sure smoke alarms are all fully functional
    Binbag dance[/STRIKE]
Catch up on important calls/emails/letters etcPay gardener, pay window cleaner and call to explain that 'please don't do the windows anymore' means exactly that and that if he comes again a. I won't pay and b. He'll be trespassing)
    Declutter some old emails
    Extras
[STRIKE]Gather up stray laundry[/STRIKE] and change a smelly bed (could be a pet bed )
    Wipe and water plants
Run appliances through a clean cycle if youve not done it in a while and clean filters. need to wash cleaning cloths so might do this tonight...
Make a start on christmas lists.. cards, presents, people to buy for etc.. Good idea... I have stuff, need to make sure I know who it is for!

Off to pack my bag for tomorrow... I'm hoping if I plan for an overnight stay, it won't happen!
