three customer service

I had a cashback complaint that three customer support were dealing with
from aboutcomms ltd ,communications house, quay lane ,gosport, PO12 4LJ, they clearly owe me £240 , i had to forward onto three the correspondence that i have had over this with aboutcomms, and after about 2 months i get a call from three to offer me as a goodwill gesture £150 cashback, but only if i extend my contract by 6 months for a phone i hardly use which will cost me £180 for the 6 months, what a waste of time i feel that was, they say they have suspended trading with them, i wonder if they have just suspended trading with them or just aboutcomms and they are just going under another name, i sent an e-mail to david ainslie at aboutcomms and get a reply from advanced data networks, how does this work. Any help would be great, thanks, Andy

What kind of help do you expect?
If 'aboutcomms ltd' still trade and have some assets, then small claims court online is the way to go.
Otherwise, '3' have no obligations to help you out.

Basically, you're stuffed. Three are under no obligation to offer you any deal, and are simply sweetening the pill by getting you to agree to the contract minimum temr extension. Without this, you would have to follow the Small Claims route, which even if you win doesn;t guarantee you would get this 'virtual money' owed. If they defended rhey could argue you missed some pointless term and your laim is invalid, leaving you to pay their (capped) costs.

As many others have done, learn and move on. It saves your blood pressure, and makes you avoid these 'deals' in future.
