PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Yes it is!
I take it that you have had an education so try using it instead of this 'text' speak!
It's 'been' and 'something' by the way.

ABS - aside from the fact that this is a discussion forum, not an exam, whats to say that the OP doesn't have learning difficulties?

You seem to have missed my point.

I, nor it seems any other forum member, wants to mark the OP on his/her spelling, punctuation and grammar. Moreover, members want to help people when they ask a question. My gripe is that the OP, learning difficulties or not, seems too lazy to bother to even attempt to write a proper sentence and expects other members to decifer their text speak ramblings before trying to help.

The OP's response to the first member who made a point to this effect was to have a go at them, as if this was an acceptable way to communicate.

    Come on people ...

    Anyway, back on topic.

Last time this topic came up (OK I admit to being addicted!) someone pointed out that mortgage lenders required the solicitor to be in receipt of all duties and taxes necessary to secure registration of the property. This would imply that the solicitor needs to have your stamp duty money before he should release the mortgage funds.
