any solicitor that can answer this for me

are sol is charging £60 for are stamp duty return form we have agreed to her charges but since we found out we could fill out this form ourselves we would like to save that £60. can we do this after we have agreed to her charges

    I would certainly ask to do it myself unless they had already completed the work (unlikely, since it is one of the last things to get done). Last time I bought a house my solicitor wanted to charge 25 pounds, but I did it myself and felt that it would not have been worth paying more than a few pounds for someone else to do it. So prices of 60 or even 75 pounds are just unreasonable.

    If you are asking for help the very least you can do is take the time to write in proper sentences (proper words would be a good start), use punctuation, and generally make it easy for people to try and help.

    Having an attitude like that is going to get you nowhere. :mad:
