the sort of gigs i go to have no need for seats
i will agree though at old trafford, it annoys me when the same people are late every week and i have to let them squeeze past. they always seem to arrive when someone's about to scorehelpful tips

it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
the tickets were £17.50.
the problem with getting to this venue early are the extortionate drinks prices (upwards of £4 a pint) and the fact they have no air conditioning. i have never been in a hotter gig venue than that place. i had a t-shirt an cargo shorts on and i still had sweat pouring off me
Thats cheap.
Perhaps thats why!
I do agree with you though, you should have been notified in advance, and I would complain.
I bought some tickets for my daughter in the summer and ticketmaster did email to say the time on the ticket was wrong.0 -

If i'm sitting in allocated seating i'll turn up after the support unless its someone i want to see.
Standing - well i've often turned up 10 hours before the main act are due on:o
lol I do that too - only ever had seating tickets at 2 gigs and I always turn up early to get a good spot! OP whilst I agree its bad that they moved the times, in 20 mins the band could only have realistically played about 3 songs, can you get hold of the setlist? if you missed some big numbers/popular songs that would strengthen your chances of getting some compensation.0 -

whilst it may have only been 3 songs, they extend some of the songs we missed out and have music playing between them, so we have missed pretty much 20 minutes solid of their sethelpful tips

unlucky but i don't really see how you can get your money back based on Shakera coming on early as she still came on 1 and a half hours after doors were meant to be open.
To get a refund you want to pursue a different angle. Claim you only got tickets to see the first support band (they must have a small fanbase) and then claim that you arrived at the venue at 7pm for doors opening, only to find the band you went to see finishing their set....This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
