what is the buyers name? they might be auction wreckers (frequently bidding and not paying for a number of items), if they get 3 or more strikes they will get suspended from ebay.

i strongly urge you to select "the buyer has not paid for the item" & then "the buyers payment has not been received" rather than "we have both agreed not to complete the transaction" and "the buyer did not want the item"/"the buyer purchased the item in error"

Do you have to wait 7 days to do this?
And is it the same as an NPB in that you run the risk of the buyer responding and as such they can then leave you negative feedback?
Given that buyer has 0 feedback and will recieve a NPB strike they might be inclined to neg.

As the buyer actually used the term "mutual agreement" they seemingly know their way around ebay so seems likely they would respond to a mutual (probably a seasoned ebayer with a new account).

If it was me and Pink's way is essentially the same as the NPB process I'd do the mutual and get the item straight back on ebay rather than waiting a week.

But if Pinks way is different from NPB i'd go with hers.

i believe if you do a mutual agreement and the buyer says they have paid or are going to pay for the item but don't pay then you don't get your final fees back

thats why you should say "the buyer has not paid for the item" & then "the buyers payment has not been received"

i think then im going to do that next week. aslong as i dont get neged and get me fees back its cool, if they brought another item after agreeing to pay for mine i dont see why i should be curtiouse to them

if they don't respond to the unpaid item dispute then any feedback they leave you will be removed by ebay. If they do respond then they can still leave feedback. If they do they just respond to it saying that they were a non paying bidder and leave them negative saying the same. I think you should worry more about getting your final value fees back though as £12 is a lot when you haven't sold the item!
