Sorry if this is in the wrong place, don't really know where to post it!
I want to send some money to my cousin in Australia, what's the easiest/most economic way to do this?
Many thanks

you could try western union, money gram, international payment from your bank, cheque, paypal, moneybookers, Prepaid mastercard i.e load it then send the card to australia.0

Online bank transfer from your account to theirs."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

Would help if you said what sort of money your are sending. £ sterling or Aus $?No free lunch, and no free laptop0

She's buying a present on my behalf for another relative out there so i want to pay her back.0

Whenever sending money to the USA my father tells me that Paypal is his preferred method. Simple, safe and comparatively cheap.0

Blimey! My bank wants £25 - almost as much as what I'm sending. I will try globalwebpay found on the above link for £4.75. I don't think she has Paypal sadly - sure that would be much easier!0

paypal would be easiest, and you can also elect to pay the charges on her behalf.0

She's opened a Paypal account, how do i elect to pay the charges, is there a box to tick somewhere?
Will she have to have a minimum amount in her account to get her money?

If you've both got a PayPal account you just need to put in her paypal email address as your payee and she should get the money.
I recently paid someone in Australian $ through PayPal. They charge a small amount for currency conversion (I forget exactly how much, but on £25 I don't think it'll be a huge amount)
I'm not sure how much she needs to have in her PayPal account before she can transfer funds, but the website should say?0
