I have been trying to download podcast programmes from the BBC website without any success. I don't want to use itunes but even that doesn't seem to link the podcasts to my PC. Can someone provide an easy guide (I am reluctant to say idiot's guide).
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

Do you want to download them one by one or have the computer download the latest edition automatically?0

Thank you for replies. I want to be able to download one if applicable and 'latest edition automatically' for my regular listening.
I have tried everything that I can think of but I can't seem to link the podcast to my pc. Really need a step by step guide.0 -
What's the problem with iTunes?
It takes a lot of the effort away - all you need to do is open it up once a week and it automatically gets all the latest editions of the subscribed podcasts for you.
What do you mean by it doesn't "link the podcasts to my PC" ???
It MUST be downloading them TO your PC (the one you have iTunes installed on). Open iTunes, click on Podcasts in the LH pane, and there they are once you've downloaded them.
If you want to use them outside of iTunes, then use Windows Explorer to navigate to the Podcasts folder in your iTunes library folder, and they're all there as mp3 files. Copy/paste them to the other location you want them in.0 -

Before we commit to writing out a step-by-step guide for you, you could give a step guide on the 'everything' that you've done already......0 -
OK, I'll start - Open iTunes -> in the LH pane, under Library, the fourth item I have is Podcasts, with the number of downloaded Podcasts next to it. Do you have a number here? If so, click on Podcasts in this menu, and you should get a list of those you've downloaded in the main pane.

Thank you I will give this a try and post my success.0
