    :hello:Morning all!

Just read the end of y'day's thread and realised on re-reading my own post that I managed to forget to send (((HUGS))) to anyone who's had to say goodbye to beloved pets recently :( and that was what had really prompted me to make the effort to post in the first place :o I blame brain fog.

Marie - sorry you are still not feeling too well. Try to listen to your body and rest when it tells you to, you are not being lazy!

Just a flying visit again today :o

    Best wishes

Grey and dreich here so no washing today - the forecast is good for the next two days so I will catch up then.
Kitchen smells better this morning with no oniony smell.:D
I have decided to make the cake next week cos I CBA today.
Got up at 6am to watch the GP and it was worth it but I am not even showered yet and DH is making brunch so I will shower after that.
DD is at work - she only has one more week there thankfully and then she can concentrate on her college work - she has found it a struggle going to college and then straight to work until 10pm plus weekends. She has found another job that is only 4 hours a week but it will give her a bit of pocket money.

Dinner today is Roast chicken and all the trimmings (DD will have quorn fillet with herbs )
Well DH is calling me to eat

Pool was cool but it's probably due to relative temp in the area, it is heated just doesn't feel like it in cooler months LOL
Just cooking Sunday lunch. We usually eat in evening but I think I might change this to lunchtimes, just fancied a nice belly full of cottage pie for lunch, probably helped by the fact that it's half cooked LOL H is having some sausage as he doesn't eat mince. Must remember to get the brown sauce out, can't have cottage pie without brown sauce :)
DS hasn't stopped since we got back, seems really hyper, despite having gone swimming. Anyone know where his "off" switch it!!!!

Dinner is in saucepans just needs lighting, kids have had lunch and when DS gets here with the car I'll be off to the shops for a couple of hours

Feeling quite ill. I know my wisdom tooth is part of it but perhaps I have a cold bug as well. Bit unlucky! Maybe I jinxed myself by buying cold medicine for Winter!

So having a quiet day today - knitting a bit, watching Romancing the Stone and writing to my pen pals. Not very productive but I keep falling asleep! Hope I am better for work tomorrow. It was bad enough being there all last week and feeling poorly!

Afternoon ladies. Sun is trying to peep through the clouds but its not to bad out there so have hung some washing out.Still feeling cr appy but not as bad as the last few days. Was a lazy moo this morning, didn't wake till just gone 11:eek: then staid in bed and had a cuppa and a read of The Half Million Pound Girl. The woman its about lives in the same town as me.We have seen her in town and my god what a mess..My twins went to school with her daughter. However the book isn't too bad .
So lunch will now become dinner. Its only cottage pie thats in the fridge after I remembered to take it out of the freezer last night so no prep needs to be done.
Have drs tomorrow, must try to get my son into the sit and wait around the same time as his foot was trod on in Rugby last week and his big toe looks like it is infected, so must get that sorted.
Dd behaviour is practically back to 'nice daughter' rather than what she was being like over the last few weeks:T:T. Its nice to have her back , she is trying to behave and to think before she speaks. No arguments from her yet.
Ds2 has phoned me this morn to say it is wet and windy in Swansea, and that they are having roast lamb for lunch, so was just checking the time it should be in the oven for. Nice to know that he is eating properly still;)

Not much else going on really , so hope everyone has a good day, I will now go back and read through the thread.
    Hugs everyone.:grouphug::grouphug:
