Reporting in for Monday spends were

• 70p on snacks
• 30p change into savings pot

I forgot I have to go to bookgroup on Wednesday but hopefully just a bottle of wine so not too much.

Ok spends so far of £5.40, and ive put togethor a little pick me up gift for a friend to help chear her up as shes had a rotten weekend, albeit its a selection of lotion and potion samples wrapped up in pretty paper and ribbon, she knows im skint, but i dont like to see her down.

Monday spend was:

Hair cut £38
Wine £4.50
Diet coke £4

So I have £3.50 remaining, but no plans for the rest of the week, so I'm happy with that.

Oh dear!
I had to take my cats to the Vet this morning, so spent £60 ...blew my budget out of the water!

Well done on the purple week last week chris81418, that's fantastic! :j

I went for a drink last night and had chips in the pub as was starving hungry, so bit of a high spend for me!

On leave today so am working to my meal plan and batch cooking loads of stuff, tremendous fun...not!!! :rotfl: I've done a freezable winter cannelini bean soup, and I'm about to do spiced carrot soup, and also sweet potato and spinach dahl. Will see me through most of the week!

Sun 9 Oct: Cigs, wine, food - £22.26
Mon 10 Oct: pub - £6.70

Total so far: £28.96/£45

So far spends of 3.02 (brekkie), 13.20 (Chinese), 7.40 (prescription), 4.95 (fat club) and 1.95 (fat club mag)- total 30.52.

Ok small spend today of £3.10 so total so far £8.50 this week, so far so good and only 3 days left!

LC enjoying your cooking I usually end up doing batching cooking one day a month, it is a pain but worth it you save lots of money and eat much healthier.

Anyway had a rather long day at work so no spends for me. I did go to the supermarket to get a couple of bits for dinner but this came out of groceries. Also bookgroup tomorrow has been postponed. It is strange I can't seem to spend my money this week, not that I am complaining:p This month is looking good generally, I think I have finally cracked this budgetting lark or else I am getting cocky and I will eat my words.

Roll on hump day tomorrow.:j
