As you are a seller you really ought to sit and read some of the terms and conditions on ebay and paypal as this might be the reason why you are struggling a bit.

On ebay or Paypal it is quite possible to raise a claim of SNAD (significantly not as described' and it is quite posisble that ebay/paypal will find for the buyer- there is no real arbitration so it is probably easier to find for the buyer, ask for the item to be returned for a full refund. That is the closest a third party can get to with putting the buyer and seller (nearly) back into the position they were before the sale.

I am also concerned that as you sell on Amazon you need to be aware that the buyer has more rights than on ebay, and on Amazon the DSRs apply to all sellers so any buyer can return anything at all without even claiming SNAD.

Just to confirm, I am not struggling at all. In fact quite the opposite. I have only just started with eBay so am giving it a go (hence all my posts in the eBay section - getting up to speed on the ins and outs of it :))

I'm well aware of how Amazon works and understand completely that a rogue customer on there can easily end up with the item and a refund via their A-Z claim process and also that sellers have to accept returns within x amount of time so just wondering if eBay is just the same. Appreciate your advice anyway, whenever i make a post you are there responding. Are you 'Mr eBay' around here?

You are quite right and as a female I am multi tasking (ie wasting time) being logged in here whilst listing on ebay and wrapping items I have sold today. I've even cooked a roast dinner at the same time.

I need a new camera though as my one only takes decent pictutes in natural light so my 'ebay photographing' time is quite limited in the darker months which means less time photographing and more time on here in the evening.

Just made a bread pudding. Looks like muesli at the moment but I'm sure once I get it in the oven it'll be grand.

Still broken- I won't risk it again as I have been known to crash entire systems just by being persistent :rotfl:
