  • think this is better in the motoring section theres a thread that have some unlock codes on it or peeps will pm you if they know what the code is. Othewise search google for you make and model of cd player and maybe there will be a forum that gives code.

What model is it ? Is it a mask motorised front, if so you need the special remote. Most Kenwoods with a code from the past few years are "user defined codes" ie you set it yourself. If it is one of those it will need to go back to a repairer to unlock it.

Looks like this one comes with a code from the manufacturer and is on the audio passport (little card) that comes with the unit. I am afraid it is not one that I have a code prog for.

Halfords can get the code for you but will cost about £15 and they may ask for proof of ownership. There are also many people on eBay, some genuine dealers, also offering the service.
