I never put my account number on it! should I have done so? dammit... I did post on several websites for this but no one replied to them!

Hi, I did mcol last night, I just followed the steps on form and used the template/sample of what to write from this site, I don't remember it saying 'insert acc no here' so pretty sure i didn't, so maybe not enough detail, wish i'd done more reading now, seem to have done nothing but for the last 6 weeks though. Does anyone know if it's possible to add further detail to the claim after you've hit that 'submit' button, or shall i just wait for them to tell me they've not enough info? Am I being a bit of a dope? This legal stuff is baffling me!! p.s sorry if i've posted this is wrong place not quite got to grips with this yet.

    Hi

I've noticed that my MCOL has got 'Acknowledged' on the claim. It says 28 days for Capital 1 to file a defence. Will Cap 1 wait so long or will they sned me a letter with an offer soon?

See the note futher down this string but effectively this si what you have to do,
    Q. I need to make an amendment to my claim how do I do it?

    A. Once the claim has been issued the court cannot change any of the details submitted without an application and request to re-serve the claim. You must complete an application notice (N244) detailing the changes you would like to make and send this to the court along with an N1 completed with the correct claim details. The court will then amend the details, re-seal the claim form and return it to you to re-serve on the defendant. You must keep a copy of the sealed N1. It is then your responsibility to re-serve the claim form. You must then send the court a completed certificate of service (N215) along with the copy of the N1 so the court knows the date when the defendant's response is due.
  • If I dont receive a letter tomorrow acknowledging the case what do I do....any help greatly appreciated...thanks

I am filling in the MCOL details but i am not sure of what to put in the box with the heading Particulars of claim*.

Can anyone help with the correct wording required in no more than 1080 words or 24 lines.

    Thanks:confused:

After our victory over Cap1, it's now time for Lloyds TSB who have so far done nothing but write senseless letters about "looking into our complaint". I am ready to file MCOL once again but as it was a business account, is there anything in the particulars I should change or leave out? Also, it was a one man business (no Ltd or anything), can I still tick "Individual" or have I got to tick "Organisation" and put the name of the company in "Organisation name"?

And a really stupid one, seeing as I have done this before: In Amount Claimed I put the amount PLUS interest, even though that will hike up the court fee from £30 to £50?
    Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH
