in Credit cards
My husband applied for a Virgin 0% card online approx 8 days ago and at the end it said if he was successful he would get paperwork in the post. Nothing has arrived yet and I just wonder does anyone know does it normally take this long or should we just accept he has been unsuccessful. I don't want to risk another credit check on a new application if Virgin are just slow.

You should give them a ring, and remember you can ask them to reconsider a rejection0

I also found them slow. However they did my SBT before I got my card!0 -
I applied for the Virgin card two weeks ago today....have not had any feedback sinceOld Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is yellow tonight,
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is mellow and bright,
There’s a coyote crying at the moon above,
Carry me back to the one I love,
And you old faithful pal of mine.0 -
Still waiting for the card however I did recieve some Credit Card Cheques off them today. They did say I should get my card in days. Again the letter stated some BT's might be charged (£2 min, £35max) although most people on here have said the oringinal BT and SBT is free. Still if I have to pay £35 it is not so bad.0

Today I got the pins for the cards. Surely the cards will come tomorrow. I want to do a SBT before going on Holiday!0

They will do it over the phone for you. That's how I did mine!

Took your advice and did the SBT over the phone. No charge. The bloke said I could transfer all of my 12500k credit limit! Chickened out and transferred 12k.
This is to easy!0 -
I applied on Sunday and got an approval letter today. Only downside was a rather mean £4000 limit. I already have an MBNA card with £8600 limit, am I correct in saying that I can transfer some or all of that over to the Virgin card. I intend closing the MBNA account anyway to clear the decks for a Capital 1 stooze next month.0

Yes, you can transfer credit limit from one MBNA card to another. :TGod save the King!
I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.0
