Aldi parking Eye 11 mins over

Oh dear - the last two posters have completely missed my point.
Of course you should not pay these invoices
Of course you should not communicate with the PPC
BUT
By writing to the stores who employ these companies threatening to take your custom else where you are starting a train of events that may end in the PPC being sacked.
If no one employed PPC's, they would quickly go out of business.
It won't put them off at all. Aldi use these companies to stop non customers parking in their car park all day when they catch the train etc. It ensures that there is space available for their customers, having one or two letters of complaint over a bill that never needed to be paid anyway is a small price to pay. Don't you think Aldi would have evaluated the negative to positive cost to their company and only gone with the choice that will generate them more custom and sales?0 -

We don't think so, no. There's no thought process beyond the obvious. They will have simply jumped at the chance to 'have their parking problems solved for free' by a company who rejoice in being members of the BPA.
We KNOW that the retailers who use these scammers generally have no clue about the modus operandi of the firm involved. No clue that the Equality Act is being ignored as far as disabled customers are concerned. No clue about the debt collector threatograms. No clue that these companies cannot 'fine' anyone.
The retailers believe the spiel of the parking companies and fall for it hook, line and sinker. They actually believe, as you seem to, that the agenda of the PPC is to keep spaces clear and to ensure that their customers can park unharassed.
The opposite is the truth, and only with complaint after complaint will retailers like Aldi wake up and smell the coffee. When they realise the effect on their customer numbers, and/or if and when the national press take an interest, that's when the retailers will see this scam for what it is.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Visit the local council offices, they should have a copy of any planning permissions for that site, check the local council website as some put the planning permissions online as well0 -
