I have an item of clothing currently on ebay, with 8 watchers. It has one bid so far and finishes 9am tomorrow (not the best time i realise). hoping some of these watchers stump up some bids tonight!0

Some years ago, the normally reasonably intelligent Mrs A asked me why so many people sold Car Boots.
I am serious. She genuinely did think that was what the signs meant.
Out of the mouths of babes.:D0 -

I had an item this evening with 26 watchers, but it finished with only 2 bids.0 -

I had that last night as well. I had an item finish which usually goes for around £7-£10, I started the biddig at £3, had 13 watchers and got one last minute bid in of £3.
Oh well, I should listen to my own advice about these cheap listing days shouldn't I:p

One reason for watcher's that don't bid that applies to me, and is where I see an item I want to bid on, set a watch so that I can access it easily and then go to bidnip and set up a snipe.
If the auction exceeds my maximum bid before the snipe time the seller will never see a bid from me.
The reason I keep the ebay watch is that I occasionaly need to refer to the auction to check some detail if another seller comes up with a similar, possibly better item.0
