Don't you just hate it when you see you have 6 or 7 watchers on a particular lot and only two bids by the end of the auction? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I thought I was going to have a last minute bidding war, but naaaaah. Lazy wotsits

Yeh it is annoying!! I expect more then half of those 'watchers' are people who have similar items and want to see what it goes for etc..... don't u ever just 'watch' an item with no intention to bid?

I often watch items just curious to see how much they go for...0 -
I admit to probably watching more than bidding simply because if I'm looking to buy something I'll mentally put a top price I'm willing to pay, but if it goes beyond that then I won't bother bidding & I rarely place an actual bid longer than a day in advance of the finish as I usually forget to keep track. Other reason for watching is probably just being nosey & wanting to see what an item of interest might fetch - I think the watching facility is really meant for buyers rather than sellers in any case.0

Ive had over 100 watchers on a guitar and only one last minute bid.
I sold some other stuff lately with around 40/50 watchers and there were zero last minutes.
Remember a lot of the time watchers are buyers.. they could just possibly be people with the same item interested in what you get for yours.0 -
I sold a lens last week and it had 96 watchers. I have to admit the bidding went mad in the last few seconds. I was really pleased it sold for £450 as I paid less than that when I bought it new in Hong Kong (I was on holiday there on a cheap trip found on MSE)0
