    Works for me, I don't know where to download VLC from as Handbrake has always prompted me and when I've clicked 'Install/Yes' it takes me to the site to download it from.

    I can see how to import a .mov file this way, but how on earth do you do it with a .avi? I can't drop an avi (or "open a file") in iTunes - it just ignores it!
