Have you set it up correctly on both PC's?
Golden Rule.
CHECK, CHECK & CHECK again.

Get the basics working first. Can both PCs ping each other? Can the 2nd PC ping the ADSL router (i.e. the default gateway)?
You don't need to enable Internet Connection Sharing in order for 2 PCs to share an ADSL connection. On the 2nd PC, in Control Panel - Network Connections, right click Wireless Network Connection, click Properties, Advanced tab and uncheck the ICS box. See if that makes any difference.0 -
Wireless headaches, I'm ready to pull my hair out. I have been trying to set up the system for 3 days without success. I have an Origo 4 port modem/router, a pc card and a connection according to the card, but when I run the Origo setup it says that it is disconnected, and until it connects I can't go any further on the page. I have been to the home site and it is no use whatsoever. Please can anyone help.....0

Joanne,
Have you followed the Origo setup guide? The modem might need resetting. Also, the thread here might help.0 -

ip 10.0.0.3
subnet 255.0.0.0
def gateway 10.0.0.2
dhcp 10.0.0.2
dns 10.0.0.2
second pc
ip 10.0.0.6
sub 255.0.0.0
def gateway 10.0.0.2
dhcp 10.0.0.2
dns 10.0.0.20 -
eddmed,
To ping, open a command window (Start / Run... , type in cmd and press return). From the command prompt on the 2nd PC, ping the ADSL router by typing:
ping 10.0.0.2 <return>
If it returns 4 replies, then it can see the router and should be able to see the internet. Otherwise if the network isn't working you'll get request timed out errors.
Again on the 2nd PC, ping the main PC by typing:
ping 10.0.0.3 <return>
And on the main PC, ping the 2nd PC:
ping 10.0.0.6 <return>
All these pings should return replies if the network is working in both directions.0 -
you're not by anychance running the free version of Zonealarm on your net connected PC are you?
From what i remember you have to buy the full version to use it with ICS0
