I am with Virgin and pay £65 against my better judgement. We have XL package and basic internet and basic phone.
I need caller ID and they charge £2 a month. May not sound a lot but I really begrudge paying even more money when it costs a bomb anyway!
I can't remove sports or HD as my partner will have a fit (tried that!)
I called to say would consider leaving but they have me at a slight problem...apparently in my area sky/BT are speed of half a meg??? And If i leave it will costs £100. I'm guessing there is nowt else to do but is there anyway I can get my caller ID for free or a better bargain similar to use I currently have? The lady wasn't too helpfull and suggested I call 1471 each time..however won't show all call lists. Not all my work collegues or family leave v/mail..or I may just not want to pick up the phone! xx

If you want to find out the ADSL broadband speed you are likely to get use the mapping function on Samknows. I assume you don't have a BT landline.

I assume it was Virgin telling you about poor ADSL speeds, rule one they lie. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Caller ID may not be available if the MUX hasn't had the linecards changed to CLI (Caller Line ID) ones & the are a lot out there that have'nt.0
