I feel the two are connected0 -
Paddypaws - I really appreciate the offer of transport but as I said will have to see closer to the time.
I am nto working now BUT I am frantically searching for a job and may be working when the time comes to spay Lucy in which case I simply would not be able to have time off to do that. As I said Lucy is at my daughter's so the logistics of it - will have to see closer to the time.
I know she can be spayed from 6 weeks after the kitties are born but really feel that would be too early. Have to play this one week by week.
Of course will do the best we possibly can for little Lucy.....
Thanks everyone for all your support on the thread - I know my daughter is lurking here and readng but she does not post - she works and studies (both full time) so is a bit knackered most of the time poor thing....
Dundeedoll has just ordered a 5kg of Hills kitten food for Lucy - thanks a million Dundeedoll0 -

Just a quick post to say those kittens are absolutely adorable, and Lucy looks so happy! Been lurking for a while, but not logged in or posted. Wish I could help out, but with 4 cats of our own, and my being a student, money's a bit tight. What I can offer, however, is some advice on some free cat food. If one goes to !!!!!!!!!!!!!! dot co dot uk (and I'm honestly not trying to promote it), there is an offer if you click the 'Pets' link in the free stuff section on the right.
The only one that I think is sitll valid is the purina offer (unless you want dog food), but you have to sign up for that. It's a newsletter I get, and I've got some decent stuff through it, so I wouldn't say it's particularly bad. If you do go with the purina offer, it's a small sachet of dry food- which isn't ideal for kittens, but may feed Lucy a bit (and our older cats ADORE purina, so it's not bad stuff!)
Just thought I'd mention it, because it costs nothing, and people could send it your way as a little token, just in case, like me, they can't offer anything else. Unfortunately, I can't offer it- I got my sample about 2 months ago, and it went rather quickly. If it rains, it rains.
We'll be in the street, looking thunder in the face,
Singing la la la la la,
