I have to say that I take exception to your comment that what I am doing is theft. Until they fit a new meter I am hardly responsible for the way my meter turns! If you had taken the time to understand my argument then you would understand that I am simply taking back what I gave in the first place - how on earth can that be construed as theft?
as long as you have told your supplier that your meter is going backwards the its up to them to change it but if you have not told them or not filled in the form stating that its going backwards then you will have problems.
as your argument wanting to use all that you produce then fine as long as it does not go back down the grid.
you get paid 43.3p per kwh that you produce also you get paid 3.1p for 50% of production for export this is what you have agreed to sell it back to the power company. so this has now been sold back to them its no longer yours.
you then need to buy back any more leccy you need at your tariff price. you cannot have it back for free.
you want 43.3p for gen + 3.1 export + 100% of your generation.0 -

It doesn't matter who owns the meter.
Your energy supplier has a duty under their supply licence terms to regularly inspect and ensure the safety and accuracy of the meter. You must allow access for the supplier when requested.
The meter will usually need replacing because either (a) the supplier believes it to be inaccurate, or (b) the supplier has reason to believe it is old and so may be outside it's safe working life or (c) the supplier has reason to doubt the ongoing accuarcy of the meter, again usually because of age, and therefore may need to be checked.
Also, sometimes, as the meters are now often leased (rather than supplied direct by the networks as was the case many years ago), it may simply be part of an ongoing programme of replacement to a lower cost leasing company - although usually they wait for a convenient time that coincides with one of the above reasons.
If you do not allow access, the supplier would be expected to use all reasonable means within their power to gain access, and this could be up to and including gaining a warrant of entry to the property to allow access. If the supplier goes to the effort to go to court to request such warrant, they will be sure themselves that they are acting correctly, and therefore it is usual for a court to award such a warrant.
The costs of obtaining, and if necessary enforcing, the warrant will be added to your bill."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
