Been enjoying haggling with Gap the last couple days.. had a 40 mile round trip today for a nice bonus. feel fat though after 2 burgers and a (big) chicken over last two days.

I have been looking into mystery shopping and have a few questions, it would be really appreciated if someone could help me with the answers.
First of all, I work full time and am looking at doing this on my days off or whenever I am available, so as a estimate (and i understand it would be hard to estimate) but what kind of extra income am I looking at a month? £20?
Also, I am totally lost on the whole "self employment" issue with mystery shopping. If I am going to be a mystery shopper do I need to register as self employed? Does this affect me being taxed on my full time income? Also does it involve a lot of maths with paying taxes because this is what is worrying me.
I know it sounds like I need spoon feeding but these are just a couple of issues that are worrying me and I'm sure once I have information on them I may have a better footing.
All help is appreciated.
Thank you
welcome...
Will leave the tax issues to the far more experienced members of the forum. But in terms of how much money you make purely depends on how much time you are willing to put in. I work full time but try and squeeze as much in to my evenings and weekends as I can without upsetting the OH too much! I suppose the more companies you sign up to the more you can control how busy you end up. £20 I think is a more than achievable amount after tax and deductions (travel etc).
Ask yourself how many hours (including reports) are you willing to give to MS in an average week?Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

Jen, you realise the reason this one keeps getting deleted is you keep posting it right?
I've not reported you myself and I'm not going to but its a VERY small catchment and there are people all over the country getting a multitude of alerts on this small couple of jobs you have for a very tight demographic.
Now I'm all for reps from the companies letting us know about x y or z job on the board. But only once or twice. After that its getting into the realms of spam.
Just my two penneth worth but I suspect I'm not the only one thinking this way. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

Thing is it may be one location but its like 15-20 jobs if you know what i mean. Its just that i have a lot of jobs in the areas that im posting... some for males some for males of a certain age etc. No different then when I see RE: Nightclubs RE: Bars RE: restaurants sometimes i can see 10 re posts in a day -- but its different jobs.
See what I mean>
And it looked like i posted it a few time but everytime i posted it was deleted ..... the original post got reported (no names mentioned) out of spite. 4 x so i reposted it.0 -

Just calling it as I saw it. I know nothing about spite deletions etc nor do I wanna know. If someone is out there targeting you thats kinda pathetic but is nowt to do with me. With RE you hit the nail on the head its a different set of jobs, distinctly so, yours looked like the same job to me. I take your point that its a lot of work in one area but it needs to be looked at from both sides. To the bog standard Mystery Shopper (on a sample of one shopper so in no way statistically reliable) on this thread it looked like the same post going up over and over again.
Now get some work up north and you wont need to post it, I'm a bloke n would be happy to help:D:D
