I would be completely alone. They have queried jobs where someone else has sat down. They have also queried drive thru's where a passenger was picked up after the drive thru. They can be that fussy.

Mmm, evidently meeting someone after the entire visit is concluded will send our brains doolally and lead us to record we had bad service when we REALLY DIDN'T.

We better not see anyone for the rest of the day after doing a burger visit, really.

Yeh, that was me. Really poor timings for a drive thru and they tried everything to get the report thrown out! I'd taken my OH with me, dropped him at Lidl 100m away (not visible from the place), did the drive thru and went back to pick him up.

Then I got a phone call questioning the timings and also saying that they thought I wasn't alone. Then a follow up email which said "Also, if you need to take your partner and drop him off elsewhere, please be sure that he doesn't get back into your car while you are on xxxxx grounds."

Firstly it was more annoying because I hadn't done it and secondly I thought it was really pathetic that they would attempt to use such a rubbish excuse to discredit my report. I still got paid for it, and the massive premium they'd bribed me with, never been back though. Not worth the hassle if they play dirty tricks.

How low-handed of them. Is it usual for them to check us? Glad I don't do GAP.

I got a new job today, so will now only select some MS assignments. Unfortunately it is only as a leaflet distributor but ok for when I start uni too, and I think its going to be more steady than MS, but it depends on the number of follow ups to leaflets (i get "commission"). very flexible hours/days, basically any time, and a nice employer.

Congratulations bab. Hope you enjoy it and that it works out for you. Good luck.

Also, local councils are looking for people to canvass for the next set of elections. Pay is not fantastic, but apparently, it's not too bad. If you are interested, it might be worth giving your local council a ring.

i would have preferred to get something where i work in a team, because any employer when i graduate will just think i am a loner (ms and delivery leaflets, no teamwork) but hopefully it passes free time and i am not so aggressive trying to pick up ms assignments and can relax a little.

  • Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone here shops for "Service Scan". I've seen them mentioned on this forum before, but they aren't listed on the first page - so does this mean they aren't reputable or is there another reason they aren't listed?
    Hope someone can help!
