Also I if i earn £5200 in my other job I can make profit up to my personal limit before I am taxed?
If it was a job with only a reimbursement i.e. you had to spend a fiver and got reimbursed a fiver but there was no fee on top of that, then that is a fivers profit.
If it was a job where there was a fee of a tenner but you had to spend 3 pound in order to get it then the 3 pound is an expense and you have made 7 pound profit.
The grey area ones are where you have to spend 4 pounds (and have it reimbursed) in order to get a fee of 3. The way most people see it is you've made 7 pound profit as it is hard to argue that you were doing it for the fee rather than the goods.

AAArrrghghg ... anyone else doing the Gfk cleaning apparatus visits tomorrow ... I have read and re-read the briefing notes, feel sure I am answering all the test questions correctly, but it keeps telling me I am wrong? SO frustrating, thought I would be organised and print off the job notes for tomorrow, not good. What a waste of Sunday evening! Any help hugely appreciated, otherwise will have to ring them in the morning. Many thanks in advance, the cake
JUST GOT THROUGH IT! Stupid test, silly me.0 -
Another one doing the "fleece" job tomorrow and actually feeling a bit nervous about it. Done a few "one off" things like this job for the company but not a series like this.
Is this something the shops will be used to, "reps" turning up and will they be happy to show you were things are etc that you need? Any suggestions from people about what you should (or should not) say to the manager.0 -
New to this site and wondered if anyone could give me some advice please. I have just been approved as a mystery shopper with Mystery Customer Evaluations - does anyone know anything about them and the type of jobs they have. I do mystery shopping for another company but haven't had much at all in the last few months. MCE ask for you to do reports on microsoft word but the company I work for just now do questionnaires - is it hard to write reports? Do they give you an idea of what they want you to write?
Any info would be very helpful - thanks.0 -
