  • Had a busy day today - picked up 3 GFK supermarkets... they had quite a high min spend - but I used it to pick up all the xmas goodies that I would have been buying anyway!! Also managed to pick up a GAP burger job - not in my local town but it was where I had to drop my boyfriend this evening for his xmas work party.. so worked out well!! Just sitting down now to complete the questionnaire.... 1 done.. 3 to go!!

Not doing too bad for next week - have 2 GR supermarkets and 2 IMS cheap supermarkets - so will be getting loads of xmas goodies!!!

Just had a quick look at a bowling job on RE, it says they will only pay for 1 game for 1 person. Not done any work for RE for a while, are they one of the ones that will pay anything up to the reimbursement limit or do they really mean they will only pay for 1 person? Can't bowl on your own surely!

I read it the same way 1 game for 1 person which looking the website is only a few quid and then a bit for food and drink which totals less than the reimbursement on offer. I've only ever had the exact amount spent reimbursed with RE so I suppose that'll just be a few quid for the game plus a small amount for the food and drink.

I can't imagine bowling by myself so I wouldn't do it.

I've done this twice for RE with my children and been paid the full reimbursement. Is a bit annoying having to do the food part (as I only order what I have to which possibly looks a little odd between the three of us) but not had problems with only being paid for my bowling.

I think I checked with RE last time and they reassured me that I would get reimbursed for all of us. Think it would be impossible to get up to that reimbursement level on your own anyway.

When we've been to the bowling centre, they've always had a deal on where it's a set price for two games of bowling and burger and chips. I've gone over the reimbursement limit as I've got three children, but RE have always paid their max reimbursement. It means I've made a small loss on the job, but it's been cheap fun afternoon out with my bairns :money:
Here I go again on my own....

Well I've done it twice and took two of the bairns, a game for three and three meals and drinks. You end up losing out but it's only like 3 or 4 quid for a good afternoon out.
I don't look at that job as a money maker, more of very cheap treat for the kids. If someone asked you if you fancied taking yourself and two kids bowling and it included meals and drinks, all for £3, you'd take it wouldn't you?

No. I don't have any, know any or like any kids...

Take a mate instead then. I'm sure it wouldn't look weird or anything.
