If it can wait until I get home and you have office on you computer and just need the product key to activate it I can send you it over. I've used it on a few computers and works fine for me.

That would be awesome love. That's if I have not binned this laptop by then. So confused dot com. Guess I am showing my age now. Wish I was all like 18 and into technology! PMSL.

:-) ..... If you wanted to try Google Documents though log into Google email , then you'll need to click the 'documents' link at the top of the screen to switch from Google email to Google docs.

just to add that im sure MSE doesnt condone the use of product activation key sharing, which may be a breach of licence and copyright
and that Microsoft may detect the shared key when activating/ updating and use that information... so use at your own risk

Unless its a multi-user key and there are still user accounts left to be registered.

Very true. Like it's also against copyright to lend a book, tape off the radio or share a CD with your friend

Abviously I do none of those horrible and unlawful things, so the product key is totally valid;)

difference is Microsoft are very sneaky at checking codes unlike taping off radio etc
