  • Just actually got a RE job for Saturday! I nearly died of shock. Just a posh sandwich place but I was in town anyway and I will be sure to explain exactly why, in words of one syllable, so simple a child could understand, why I didn't select the most favourable option. Probably because I would rarely, if ever, describe a fast food staff team as 'Super Team!' without being sarcastic.

I'll bet a tenner you'll still get queries on why you didn't call them a "Super Team"

For the same reason I wouldn't describe the atmosphere as "Fantastic!" - they didn't give me any free stuff or help me solve some of my personal problems.

Totally agree with you. I can count on one hand the number of times I've given top marks when words like that are used. And have quite a few fingers left over at that.

  • I registered with Gap a while back and have carried out all the client orientation tests listed. However, there's a grey box and when I hover my cursor over it I see it's for a pizza place. Can anyone tell me why it's there but won't allow me to open it/take the test?

I think it said 10 minutes but I'd wait and see if you can at all.

Would you wait more than 15 minutes?

I'd wait the 15, and if the store is genuinely dead I'd leave and ring them.

On second thought it might be better to ring them tomorrow before you go in.

I did 3 of the above visits for men today. I didn't wait around. Sorry but the place was totally dead and the staff were rude and horrible. If I've messed it up, I won't get paid, big wow! I think you are supposed to be in store for a total of 15 minutes and I was in all mine for over 13 minutes. After the fitting room section when I said I was not sure, I had eyes being rolled and "whatever" being mouthed at me. One crazy young lady mouthed "fu*k you" at me when I asked her for help. Poor love, if only she knew I was the ms'er! :D:D

Did a dictaphone visit today. I'm so loving the choon in the background. Errr, I wanna know what the name is!

I did a big city centre one of these and the place was like a morgue. It was very surreal, outside the shop the area was absolutely rammed with people as were most other shops. Inside there was me a 2 other customers which was hardly a surprise given the crap service I got. Listening to others it seems that this company have a bit of a problem with staff which could explain the mystery shopping programme.
I didn’t hang around either, it would have been too obvious, I told it the way it was in the report and had no problem with pay.
