When Gap phone and say they will offer £x extra but then there is no sign of this in the My Assignments page, this is frustrating. Any tips?

Oh and does anyone know if PIP are still doing the posh chocolates? If not, I might stop shopping for them too. Not doing uber cheap clothes shops or diy stores. Not my thing.

Yes they do, I did one last month :)

Just missed my local GR cheap supermarket, so annoyed!

Wait, usually it shows up a few hours later.

Then again I'm not too sure whats going on with them today, I did a last min job yesterday and expressed it as soon as I got home - had the clone emails etc after I completed it, but had an answerphone message this afternoon asking if everything went well and telling me to get it written up pronto.....slightly worrying when as far as I can see it's all done and dusted.

And I did two visits for GR on the 1st, one is showing as paid and the second is still pending - any ideas? I've not had any queries or contact from them to let me know there was a problem with the report so that's also slightly concerning me.

Ahh well two days off work to endure now, been assigned 9 BARE car shops, good job Mr S demanded I take a holiday day from work to go to his Chrimble doo and then decided to disappear off on a voluntary exersize for three days instead of attending it himself really!
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

First 2 visits of Car showroom's tonight. slightly nervous. Not normally... I know that Boredupnorth has done them and assured me that they aren't that difficult!

If only I did have 50k to spend on a car!
You will be fine, just remember to be hard faced and dont get in to deep discussions about what colour you want etc

I wanted the GFK car visits but my car is too new to participate

Got a fast food lunch delivery at a local but if I remember correctly, that place do not actually deliver for lunch. They only deliver starting from late afternoons.
So looking for advice on what to do if during the assignment, the place tells me they only do pick ups only for lunch, do I just say no thanks or go pick it up?

I got offered 2 right by you! they would have been worth the trip:(
  • Just wondering if anyone could offer me a quick bit of advice when it comes to working out your expenses. Please! :)

Thanks to this thread I already have a figure for printing but I'm a little confused on how to work out my travel expenses. Googling around I am finding lots of info for drivers and not so much for public transport. I don't drive so use public transport is my only option - do you still put it in as mileage or do you deduct the cost of the bus ticket (one ticket can be re-used all day long and get me around to several locations). And does that mean if I wanted to go further afield I could write of the cost of a train ticket to a neighbouring city in the same way?

    Sorry for all the questions.

Use the actual cost of public transport. Claiming costs for going further is no problem unless it is just done to make a big loss, then it could get questioned if you are ever audited. For example don't try to claim travel from Manchester to London on the basis you can do a £10 job in London.

You claim the cost of the ticket.
