Thanks for the advice peeps. I've never had to cancel in the past. Thanks to HeavensDevil for the top idea of asking on here and to Trevor64 too for saying he is interested in one of the visits.

Isn't everyone on here lovely. Will someone please bring some Vicks and some Lemsip as you are all being really nice :-)

You are most welcome. Maybe you will get a finders fee :)

Also try some warm lemonade. Gives your body the sugar and fluids to help it and also soothes throats and stuff at the same time :)

  • If any nice Mancunians are reading this

    :):T:):T:):T:):T

Not really a Mancunian though. Londoner living abroad is how I like to think of it.

Shame there are no pharmacy jobs kicking about! Get well soon _pale_

I did a burger visit today (not a job, was just starving mid MS cycle and needed something quick to eat before carrying on my merry way!) and it was 17 minutes from joining the queue to being served  Wonder what GAP would make of that! I asked for a receipt but there was definitely no floor show!

Oh, and while I'm having a rant (which I wasn't but I am now!), why do garages advertise on their website that they close at 7 when they close at 6  I have to revisit 2 tomorrow that I hoped to have done and dusted today! A 60 mile round trip plus I already have other jobs lined up tomorrow! Ok, rant over!
  • Oooo... Lucozade is good for ill as well!

Can you tell I was ill a lot as a child lol

A little peeved with GFK today. I took 8 jobs for yesterday and advsied them I was travelling straight after so the reports would be done today (woo hooo went to see an AMAZING gigin Brum land last night :D:D:D) Comes to Midday today and the 4 of them I hadn't completed were de-allocated. Rang them, got no answered, emailed and eventually got an answer at gone 3 this afternoon. Was told they would re-allocate them but they didn't re-allocate all of them - there is still one missing AND the other one that i had for tomorrow of the same wave has misteriously disappeared too!! Emailed them back and got a confused response so emailed again and explained again and now i've heard nothing...

Anyone done one of these really expensive jeweller jobs for AA? It's a rotten fee and I've just spent ages trying to fill in all the comments they want, when there is not very much to say. Then I find a question asking for what I thought they had already asked me. Never again!

Can only endorse what everyone says about Tern. Very professional and work is well balanced.

TNS van job - hope my experience is not too bad when it comes to filling out my first questionnaire online. I am not sure I am cut out to negotiate on vehicles, I never seem to get a discount!

I told AA to stuff the job when the assigned it to me. for that kind of money I'm doing a report with one question, was the customer service good or bad? check box answer.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Wait till you get the challenges back from the store saying you were never there!
  • What amuses me about AA is the vagueness of their job descriptions - and when you email to get further information, WHAM! it's assigned to you!
