Have a look on the council website. In Newcastle the car parks right in the city centre are expensive, but if you park on the edge and walk in, it's much cheaper. I walk briskly and it only adds a few minutes onto the job time, plus my thighs get a work out if I park in Dean Street and walk quickly up Grey Street as it's quite a steep hill

yup I do the same for my city centre, park on the outskirts and walk in, unless its the train station where i get 20 mins free parking, which is usually enough to get in and out for a couple of stores

Theres a reason I do all my shopping in Middlesbrough and Darlington on a sunday

Pretty much the same area that I cover. I have the same problem with my wifes treatment although she is off chemo at the minute. I bet I have seen you at the hospital seeing as I seem to spend most of my life there!

I just did my last Petrol job tonight. Was to be done by 7pm but a) I got held up on my previous job by over an hour (!!) and b) got caught up in accident traffic on the M25 so didn't get here til 4 minutes to 7. I did the petrol and the shop and my receipt says 7pm but the carwash shuts at 7 (I guess that's why they want the job done by then!)..I did all the faffy bits afterwards once I had my receipt so I didn't actually leave the site til about 10 past. Should I put the report in and explain or do it again tomorrow? Oh, one other thing, I tried to change the date of the job to tomorrow but it wouldn't let me (I'm sure it was to be done any day between today and Wednesday or Thursday) even although the brief says they don't all need to be done on the same day.

Advice anyone? Hoping that makes sense!

GFK I assume, if the date on the main vin is Wednesday then you have till then to do them so I would re shop it. They are the only visits I have ever had any queries from GFK

Better to park in the Queens square car park. Virtually in town centre, and a couple of minutes walk to Liverpool one. I get the bus over, so cheaper for me.

Thanks, yeah I kinda thought that (as I was paying over the odds for something that I'd never usually buy if I wasn't getting reimbursed for it ). It was only half a job I did so I have no problem doing it again in the morning. I managed to change the date on the main VIN for tomorrow so hopefully it won't get deallocated at midnight when I don't fill in the report!

Does anyone know how you register to be a mystery shopper with TNS?

I started mystery shopping last week and enjoying it so far.....had a couple of free lunches, jewellery, toys and a book so far. Well, I say free but once you factor petrol and printing large amounts of paperwork...I've probably only broke even but at least it keeps me out of trouble
