I live 4 miles from the city and hardly go there because I'm constantly clock watching for the parking, I'd rather go to the Trafford Centre and make a day out of it. I've got to pop into town tomorrow to collect something and I did consider doing a couple of jobs but having two teenagers in tow and the cost of extra parking has just put me off the idea altogether.
I know what you mean but L1 is much better than the trafford centre. I was surprised at how quiet it was there until I saw how much the parking was!
  • Does anyone on here shop Liverpool? How can you make any money with the price of parking there. £9 for 2 1/2 bloody hours!

No! But I might do if the Liverpool One had free parking like the Trafford Centre.

    What towns do you shop?

From Knutsford up to Preston (S-N), Warrington to Tameside (W-E)

A lot depends on my dads chemo as to how much time I have to MS these days, most weeks its only a couple of days

that said 5 miles can add up, I did 41 miles in a day, just covering 21 visits in a an area no further than 7 miles from where I live, but it was just going to many places and it was the all the in between driving that added up

I've just worked it out for tax but I've driven 3000 miles since April. I think of myself as very part-time and I've also had about 3 months off with family stuff so I was surprised it was so much...

Not aware of any delivery as I'm still at work but I've ended up with a load of excess from the last 2 waves, anyone else got a load of the POS leftover?

Got a number of big posters left over. I put one on the floor with some crayons and it keeps my daughter amused for ages drawing on "the massive paper" :D

Have a look on the council website. In Newcastle the car parks right in the city centre are expensive, but if you park on the edge and walk in, it's much cheaper. I walk briskly and it only adds a few minutes onto the job time, plus my thighs get a work out if I park in Dean Street and walk quickly up Grey Street as it's quite a steep hill :D
Here I go again on my own....
