Has anyone else on here been asked by GR to start doing the new project for them in January?

I wish, I think I'm still too young for them to trust me.

Doubt it, My niece has also been asked to do them and she is 23. Not sure what demographic they are looking for of if it was just names in a hat!

Another vote for GR. I love their user friendly reports, and they are really helpful on the phone.

I am always knackered, but that because my main job is shift work. We work 2 early shifts, then 2 lates, then 2 nights so I never get into a sleep routine.

I keep asking for part time, which would be much less tiring, and then I can top-up with mystery shopping.

The only thing that I don't like about GR is the character limit. I can't use full sentences to explain negative answers and possible improvements!

Other than that, full marks to them. Called them to change a date for a visit, the lovely lady on the phone even said "Have a great weekend" at the end. Top marks to her. LOL.

Very true, I wonder if the output would be more useful to them even with just another 150 characters, which wouldn't be excessive. There's often a lot to say which you can't do justice in 255 characters.

Unlike RE who want to make 'Yes' be a minimum of 30 characters.

Only problems I have with RE is their pay and their queries which are a tad annoying when you have already responded to questions in the survey exactly as asked. And then they find it necessary to deduct marks from us when they should have read the questions more thoroughly themselves. Those 'yes' and min 30 characters are alright for me, its not that time consuming to write 30 characters but it does make it feel like the survey never ends.

But I like them because there are lots of work to choose from and no guessing game of whether you got the job or not. Its actually self-assigned, some other company allows you to self assign a job and then it gets stuck at pending status without any notification as to you whether you get it or not. Its terribly difficult to plan around that.

I don't understand the exact reason for limiting it to 255 but I know its a tecnical thing, something to do with binary data recording and a single binary unit only having 256 possible forms, but as 0 is one of the forms 255 is the top...I think.

The same goes for ABAI. The shop that sells everything has character limits and I cannot fit all the information in. If the store does not score full marks, I like to explain why and how they could have scored higher. It's just not possible with the limit. I know they say send us an email at the end with extra information, but if you do 3 visits, it gets a bit OTT.

I like the SASSIE systems where they allow you to write as much as you want. I don't like to waffle but if I feel something can be improved I like to give concise notes as to how this can be done.

Having read the discussion about GR last night, one just came up. Its a bit out of the way for me but I'm worried if I don't take it, I might not get much more seeing many have said they are hard to come by. Wonder whether it would affect me getting assignments in the future if I let this one go...
