I want Sky B.band, but they say I don't have a BT line?

I want to switch from Telewest to Sky, but Sky say I don't have a BT line . The thing is, I do have a BT line, the only thing I can think it is I use Toucan for my calls. Rang BT, and I think I got through to the Big Brother House and they have major problems so will get back to me as they cann't check it yet.
So what I need to know is does anyone use BT just for there line rental and someone else for there calls and have Sky tv/B.band.

When they say you don't have a BT line, it means that you must currently be paying BT for the rental of your line.

If you're using Toucan for your calls, you're probably paying them your line rental? That's why Sky will show you not havinf a BT line.

No were still paying BT for the line rental, but all the calls are billed and paid to Toucan.

Iv'e never had a Telewest line before, but just been back on sky.com and its now saying I do have a BT line, so it must of been a fault on BT's side.Now a 35 min wait to cancel telewest:rolleyes: .

In your OP you started off with "I want to switch from Telewest to Sky..." so I assumed you had a Telewest phone service.
