Yeah, needs to be a Core Duo, or Athlon64.
Ah sweet, you've got an 820. Heard they are very easy to overclock. Maybe your temps are ok. You running the stock cooler? Never used Pc Wizard, I like SpeedFan, always worth a look."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
On speed fan sometimes on temp3 the temperature goes to -5 is this just a misreading.
temp1:32c
temp2:27c
temp3:-5 to 30c

unless you're machine is in a freezer or you have some type of extremely cold liquid cooling then yes it does seem wrong.0

That overclock on that chip is possible, but to be stable on air is doubtful. But to do that with a cheap and nasty psu really suprises me.
I have 2 x 3.9ghz on a e6600 (the e4300 chips bigger brother.) But I am using a 1/2" water cooling system.

On hwbot.org there are a couple of people to have an e4300 faster than 3.5ghz, but none that are stable enough to run superpi 1m or pifast faster than 3.3ghz.
Ask the ebay seller to provide a cpu-z and superpi32m screen shot, similar to what I have just shown.0
