Hello.
I signed up for a new contract on 3 in November. Previously i had been on O2, but ended up just going into phones4u (The fella that sold me the phone was very sly and slippery) and getting a new Nokia N73.
The consultant i spoke to told me that it was free to use WAP (Which was a lie, so i subsquently got a £38 Wap bill in my first month), led me to believe that it was a 12 month contract, when it was an 18, and slipped in a £10 a month insurance (Even though i said i didn't want it).
Anyway, i digress.
One of the things he also said to me was that 'they' contact 02 to cancel my current deal before i begin my new one, so again i took him for his word. This morning i looked at my old email address, to notice that last week i had and email from O2 - 'O2 Online Bill'
So i've paid out £90 since i started my new contract.
Will i just have to pay O2? Will i have to pay them more? Is there any way i can get O2/3/Phones4U to pay? Was he even right in telling me the info in the first place?
Thanks,
Alex.
