I also managed to grab my first dtd last night, or so I thought!!
I spotted the BT Stratus 1500 triple phones with an ood SEL at £79.99, scanning at £164.99.
Off I went to cs just as it was closing and the sa marched me down the store to check the SEL.
SEL confirmed at £79.99, then off she went to chat with a senior sa who offered to sell the phones at the £79.99 price. I queried the dtd policy and the senior sa said ok.
The sa started to complete the form for the £170 refund but when she called the manager over to sign it off, he refused to dtd and despite my best efforts he would only sell the phones at the £79.99 SEL.

Unfortunately in this store the board behind cs is really small and loads of the stuff that is normally on these boards is missing, including the dtd policy.
I was thinking of calling cs, but wondered whether anyone had any experience of this and if I had a leg to stand on. What is the policy on dtd when it's not showing on the board at cs, do I have a right to it or is it at managers discretion.
Any help would be gratefully received, otherwise I suppose I will just return the phones at £79.99 and keep my eyes peeled for another dtd opportunity.

DTD is a COMPANY policy, its not up to a manager to pick and choose which of his employers orders he wishes to follow and which he does not! Report the matter to head office.

Thanks, I thought I should be entitled to the dtd, the manager was really rude to be honest so was thinking of reporting him anyway.
Do i just contact the cs tel no to get onto head office or is there another e-mail or tel no?

I am hoping to pop out to a few more stores today, so I'll keep my eyes peeled and post any more bargains I find.

Alhough not electrical if any of you fancy some shampoo to go with your new hairdryers etc, I have noticed that if you can find the Pantene Brunette Shampoo (not conditioner) left on the shelves, then this scans at 24p a bottle. I have found it in 3 stores, one not priced, one at 24p and one showing a reduced SEL of 48p.
It's worth looking as they were actually re-stocking the shelves with it in 2 of the stores when I saw it and in fact a very nice sa saw I was a brunette and brought it to my attention.

I bought the toshiba camileo s20 3 weeks ago, there were 3 on the shelf 2 scanned at £89 but 1 scanned at £30.
They had new barcode stickers put over the originals and the 1 was different to the others

I desperately need a iron steamer badly, in the last year or 2 all 4 of the irons we had stocked up on and put away have all broke on us so i want a really good quality steam iron to make mine, sisters and mums life easier since we all live in the same house and have plenty of cloths to iron!! Also need an epilator and hoover which are also on my list of stuff to get, so the hunting still continues in Mr T's shops............!

I had a huge trolley the other day stacked with boxes of hoovers, kettles, irons and all sorts....wheeled it to the scanner, beeped it all and then wheeled it back and put it all back on the shelves. Anyone viewing the security cameras must have thought I was bonkers!
